A merry mix of shadow and light

A swath of darkness looms on the western horizon. Only the bravest campers venture into the Valley of Shadows, jagged ravine that’s been cut into the rocks to the west.

On the shortest day of the year, the shadow of the Lighthouse Archive stretches all the way into the valley, as a reminder that we cannot have holiday lights without the darkness of winter.
